"Robert's Café changed forever when it's eponymous founder ceased to be a part of the much-loved franchise.
Well, the good doctor has returned with the Orchid Bistro - a small, comfortable café serving the Ikeja community. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with everything about this place – it's cosy design, the option of both indoor and outdoor seating, their beautiful garden, great location, prompt and friendly service, not to mention the great tasting food!
We enthusiastically recommend their "English Breakfast" (with a side of waffles or pancakes). We substituted pineapple juice for the orange juice and skipped the coffee in favour of one of their trademark hot chocolates (complete with marshmallows!)
We left stuffed and happy. Expect to pay slightly more here than comparable cafés, but how can anyone put a price on perfection?

"Anybody who knows the King of Afrobeat music popular known as Fela must definitely no this iconic name "Kalakuta" while it has an original link to the Indian "Calcutta" name, it doesn't share cultural affliation except for it being the name Fela called its home while he was released from prison because of his activist role against the then ruling powers,Kalakuta was indeed a republic cause Fela declared it independent of the Government rule and indeeed it was cause it provided many charitable benefits to the community .
Kalakuta has been resurrected and made a museum for all Fela's lover and Afrobeat lover to connect with the music icon. Fela made quality and fine music throughout his lifetime, no wonder @johnfox and others loved him.
I hope @johnfox would enjoy a beautiful music I added
Afrobeat originated from Nigeria by Fela Anikulapo kuti(Fela)"
"Explorer7 was borne because I have that dream just like the great explorer to explore my world, I was looking for a great web application then to use while exploring the world.
I couldn't be more happy when I found out I could do that with findery, leaving great notes at those locations I love or visits.
Even though the exploring is still online I am sure I would begin real-time offline and then leave my notes real-time online.
Lets make places make places come alive this year......
With this I say Happy New Year to you all"
"It is a gigantic site to behold on a central park in the island of Lagos
Believed to be manucfactured by burning down thousands of copper pennies located at the busy Tafawa balewa park, Broad street,Nigeria
Built in honour of Taiwo Olowo, a man from humble beginning who rose to be very richhh and influential."
"Our city is blessed with a large array of global cuisine but eventually you get tired of the usual - Chinese, European or American. Where can you go to try something deliciously different?
Sherlaton is one of the city's oldest Indian restaurants; and we've been huge fans since their Awolowo Road days.
We're particularly fond of their Chicken Tikka (tender, roasted chunks of chicken, marinated in delicious herbs & spices and roasted in a Tandoor oven) that is so moist, you'd think it was fish, and their Chicken Tikka Masala (saffron marinated chicken, stewed in a thick, creamy, peppery red curry) which goes great with Jeera rice.
Their prices are really good and two can share a good meal for ~6k. Pop by and revive your taste buds - watch out for the somewhat retro décor though - they want to be appreciated for their food first!
